Is your ice cream homemade?
Yes! All of our ice cream is homemade and churned fresh daily at our shop in Penn Laird, VA.
How many flavors do you have?
We offer 16 homemade flavors, and they rotate every month. See the current lineup on our Flavors page.
How do I find out about new flavors?
Follow us on Instagram @totsicecream and on Facebook, or join our email list for new flavor drops.
Are your waffle cones homemade?
Yes. We make our waffle cones fresh every day. Add a waffle cone or waffle bowl to any scoop for $1.00.
Menu & Prices
How much is a scoop?
In-store prices: Kids scoop $3.25, Single $4.25, Double $5.75, Triple $6.75. Waffle cones or bowls are +$1.00, cake cones +$0.20, and toppings are $1.00 each.
Do you sell ice cream to take home?
Yes! Take home any flavor by the pint ($6.95), quart ($9.95), or half gallon ($16.95).
What is The Mountain?
The Mountain is 8 scoops of ice cream with whipped cream, every topping, and a cherry on top. It serves 4–8 people and costs $20. It’s available in-store only.
Ordering
Can I order ahead?
Yes. Order online for pickup through our Order Ahead page, then pick up at 4549 Spotswood Trail Ste 2, Penn Laird. Online prices may vary slightly from in-store prices.
Can I order The Mountain online?
No. The Mountain is in-store only.
Gift Cards
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Physical gift cards are available at the counter in any amount.
Spirit Nights & Fundraisers
How do Spirit Night fundraisers work?
Schools, PTAs, sports teams, scouts, churches, clubs, and nonprofits can host a Spirit Night at Tots. We give 25% of the night’s sales from your supporters back to your group, and we mail the check within 2 weeks.
Which nights can we host a Spirit Night?
Spirit Nights are held Monday through Thursday nights. All Spirit Nights require approval.
Do we need volunteers for a Spirit Night?
No volunteers needed. We even make your flyer and Facebook graphic.
How do we request a Spirit Night?
Fill out the request form on our Fundraisers page or call us at (540) 269-3162. We’ll reach out to confirm your group and date.
Visiting
Where is Tots Ice Cream?
We’re at 4549 Spotswood Trail Ste 2, Penn Laird, VA 22846, a short drive from Harrisonburg, McGaheysville, and Massanutten.
What are your hours?
Monday–Thursday 3:30–9 PM, Friday 12:30–9 PM, Saturday 11 AM–9 PM, and Sunday 12–9 PM. Holiday and special hours are posted on Facebook and Instagram.
Do you host parties?
Not at the shop yet, but take-home pints, quarts, and half gallons ($6.95 / $9.95 / $16.95) make any party sweeter.
